Malcom and Griffin, two area guinea pigs, are deeply regretting their trip to the mall earlier this month. According to numerous sources, the two rang up a Visa bill totaling $5,592, after making lavish purchases at Lord & Taylor, Pinkberry and the Apple Store. "I’ve literally never seen someone drop $500 on frozen yogurt in a single go,“ said one witness to their shopping spree.

Local Puppy Studies Diligently for MCATs
According to reports a local puppy is determined to pass his MCATs and get into medical school. "He’s taken them twice,“ says friend Vivien Radwa. "But this time he’s really buried himself in his studies. We tried to get him to go out last Friday night, but he wouldn’t have any of it. I’ve never seen him this studious. I think he’ll pass this time.”

A French bulldog reportedly tears up whenever someone leaves the room. Sources close to the situation are calling him a “crybaby” and a “wimp,” but some experts disagree.
“It could be separation anxiety, a very real and treatable condition,” says Dr. Linda Monk, a dog psychologist. “A little tough love should help him grow out of it.”
