Beagle Sleeps In After Week of Holiday Parties
Cody, a 4-year-old Long Island beagle, has posted a “Do Not Disturb” sign on his bedroom door after five consecutive holiday parties left him totally wiped out.
“The term ‘party animal’ is an understatement when it comes to Cody,” says Jillian Stevens, a friend. “He’ll go all day and all night, but the next morning can be tough. He’s got to rest up now – New Year’s Eve is right around the corner!”

Cat’s Centerfold Calendar Will Ship in Time for 2013
Despite a number of production setbacks, the 2013 calendar featuring nude cat model Misha will ship on time, according to the publisher.
“We’ve been working around the clock over the holidays to ensure the calendar is printed and available in stores by December 31,” says Mitch Caroll, the product’s art director. “Misha has millions of fans who look forward to her new calendar every year. We were not prepared to disappoint them just because a printing press broke down.”

Jean-Claude Van Damme, a local french bulldog and noted troublemaker, was spotted at the park this morning refusing to give up his spot on the swing to a neighborhood child. According to onlookers, Van Damme had been on the swing for at least 45 minutes when he was approached by a young girl who asked if she could have a turn.
“And then he just stared at her for a few moments and kept swinging,” said Evan Singer, an eyewitness. “The rules on the sign outside the park entrance clearly state no more than 30 minutes per person on the swings. If you ask me, that puppy is nothing but a big bully.“
