Dog Charged With Identity Theft
After a three week search for the culprit, the FBI claims it has a dog named Oscar in custody on charges of impersonating and defrauding a giraffe.
“He’s been writing bad checks all over town,” says special agent Terry Crawford, who works on fraud and identity theft cases. “He’s run up a $30,000 credit card bill and ruined the reputation of that poor giraffe. The costume is pretty ridiculous, I’m not sure why we didn’t spot him sooner.”

Polar Bear Cubs Intend to Build Best Snowman Ever
Simon and Randy, two polar bear cubs from Fairbanks, AK, have been planning a major snow engineering project since Christmas. As soon as there is adequate snow cover on the ground and an extended streak of cold weather, the pair hope to put their plan into action.
“They’re planning to really put Fairbanks on the map,” said city councilwoman Anne Fitchker. "I’ve seen the plans, and it is impressive.“
While neither Fitchker now the bears would release any more information about their snow art installation, The Fluffington Post has learned from sources familiar with the situation that Simon and Randy are planning to build a snowman of "at least 23 feet in height.” Weather permitting, they hope to complete the project by mid-March.

Pup Gets Much-Needed Haircut
After being called a “hippie” twice in the same day, a pup named Ralph finally gave in and got a haircut.
“He’d been letting it grow for about two months,” says Jessie Cabot, a friend. “He said the ladies liked it, but it was getting in his eyes. Thank goodness the barber was open on Mondays or he might not have gone in.”

Mendel is no stranger to the cat walk. His fluffy fur coat has been on fashion runways from New York to Milan, and for years its thickness and sheen have been a trade secret.
But no longer.
In an exclusive interview with The Fluffington Post, Mendel’s personal assistant revealed just how he achieves such a luxurious mane.
“His sister Sweet Pea runs him through the spin cycle about once a week,” says Chester Logan, who has worked with the fashionable cat for a little more than six months. “It’s the gentle cycle of course. After a tumble in the dryer, he comes out looking pretty lush.”
