Cat Is Notorious Micromanager

Darcy the cat is an extremely accomplished feline. Starting as an intern at Vogue three years ago, she rose quickly through editorial the ranks at various publications and is now the Editor-in-Chief of FelineFashions.com. She’s just five years old. 

But, say Darcy’s coworkers, she’s notoriously hard to work with.

“Darcy is usually the smartest cat in the room,” said one former employee, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, “but she likes things done a certain way. She was always looking over my shoulder, making changes. It was infuriating at times.”

Co-workers and employees concede that working for Darcy isn’t all bad. She may be a micromanager, but she’s also a talented editor who can jumpstart careers.

“She’s a born leader,” said Amanda Baker, who interned with the cat at Vogue. “Her quick ascension in this industry is a testament to her hard work and vision. Anyone who gets a chance to work with Darcy should jump on it!”

Area Dog Devastated to Find No Presents Under Christmas Tree

A local dog named Hudson was dismayed this morning to find that his recently decorated Christmas tree had no presents under it. According to sources close to the situation, Hudson was “very sad” and wondered if he had “been a bad boy.”

“I tried to explain to him that the reason there aren’t any presents yet is because Christmas is still a few weeks away,” said Eric Nicolov, who lives next door to the pup. “But he was still bummed out. He’s been moping around all morning.”

Sources say that presents will be start to be placed under the tree in the next week or so. That should cheer Hudson up.
