Vets Wrote Record Number of Doggie Zoloft Prescriptions in 2011 

The American College of Clinical Pharmacy released its 2011 numbers today, and many were surprised to see a sharp spike in the number of Zoloft prescriptions written for dogs with depression.

While some experts cite the continued economic downturn as a cause of doggie blues, others believe a bacon shortage in October may have contributed to the uptick.
