Puppy Channelling the Sphinx

Jaya the puppy has recently become obsessed with the mythos of ancient Egypt. She’s adopted the Sphinx as her new role model, and is spending all of her free time channelling the ancient icon’s mystique, according to sources close to the situation. 

Owner Cameron Miles told FluffPo that it all started when she marathoned The Mummy movies.

“I had some friends over one rainy Sunday and we just powered through all of them,” Miles said. “Jaya must have been inspired, because the next thing I knew, she’d fallen down a Wikipedia hole reading about Egyptian art. She’s been doing the Sphinx thing ever since.” 

In FluffPo’s editorial opinion, while the Giza statue certainly has size, age, and history on its side, it can’t compete with Jaya’s floppy ears in terms of cuteness.
