Puppy Advocates for Shorter Work Week
Tirol, a French Bulldog from Chicago, IL, is dog tired of working 40 hours per week. The puppy favors the attitude of his native France, which has had a 35-hour work week since 2000 and recently moved to limit work emails outside of the office.
“Tirol is just sick of the rat race,” said co-worker and labor organizer Marion Arnaud. “He wants a better separation between work and life.”
According to Arnaud, the pup doesn’t even necessarily demand a shorter work week. He’s just advocating for some “common sense” measures to have a better work-life balance.
“Afternoon naps, to start,” said Arnaud. “Mandatory walks if he has to stay late. That sort of thing.”
