Area Puppy Fetches Stick, Unsure How to Proceed

When local puppy Asher, a German Shepard – Labrador Retriever mix, fetched a stick on Thursday morning, he wasn’t sure what to do next. So he just stood there, looking kind of unsure of himself.

“We had been working on fetch, and we’d gotten as far as, ‘you chase after the stick and pick it up,’ but we hadn’t addressed the ‘bringing it back’ part,” explained Aisha Franklin, a source close to the situation. “He’ll get it. He just needs more practice.”
