Cali, a pug from Greenpoint in Brooklyn, refuses to watch any movie that doesn’t star a dog.

Air Bud? Awesome. Homeward Bound? Yes. All Dogs Go to Heaven? Of course. Lady and the Tramp? You betcha. Old Yeller, Marley & Me, Benji, even Cujo are all in his Netflix queue.

But try to rent Pulp Fiction or Inception and he’ll flip out.

“I tried to bring home The Artist recently, thinking that because it had a dog in it that would be okay,” said roommate Terrence O’Donnell, “but Cali wouldn’t have any of it. It has to star a dog, or it’s a no go.”
