Critics: Dog’s Cooking Show ‘Too High Brow’
“Cuisine de Nero,” the eponymous cooking show from Nero the dog, has amassed over 3,500 subscribers on YouTube since launching in 2012. But critics say that the pup is missing out on a much wider audience because of his high brow approach.
“He’s got a lot of camera presence,” said BuzzFeed’s senior YouTube food editor, Colleen Ryan. “His instructions are easy to follow, but his food is just not the type of thing your average home chef wants to make.”
Ryan believes that Nero could easily have a five times the audience he has now, especially among fellow canines, if he started cooking more simple food.
“I get it,” she said. “He’s a French Bulldog, so he cooks French food. But, really, how many dogs out there are trying to make Boudin Noir Aux Pommes or Lamprey à la Bordelaise? How many can even pronounce those?”

Dog Takes Advantage of Casual Fridays
by Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
Among his co-workers at Freed & Crump, LLC, Jackson is known as the “fun guy.” It’s no surprise, then, that the Senior Accountant and dog would take full advantage of the firm’s “casual Fridays” policy.
“Office dress is pretty relaxed on Fridays,” says Data Analyst Morgan Lowe. “Of course, Jackson takes it to a whole other level. He’ll usually wear American flag pants or a really loud Hawaiian shirt. People get a real kick out of it.”
Jackson may find it hard to top his choice of clothing from last Friday.
“He wore a pizza tie,” says Lowe. “It was the silliest thing I’ve ever seen, but he totally rocked it. Say what you want about Jackson – you have to admire his panache.”
