Playground Pup Clueless Over Slide
Schoolchildren laughed as they watched a local dog named Hercules try to use the playground slide in vain.
“He’s going up the wrong side,” 6-year-old Kelly Finch tells The Fluffington Post, holding back the giggles. “What a doof.”
Witnesses report that after a number of false starts, Hercules did manage to scamper half-way up the slide, only to slump back to the ground.
“Why won’t he use the ladder? I don’t know,” says Finch, looking defeated.

Cat Photographer Falls Asleep, Misses Life-Changing Shot
World-renown cat photojournalist Pippin of Rotherham, England was out a little too late last night, and his career paid for it dearly.
Just as he nodded off this afternoon, a fighter jet roared past his window, narrowly avoiding an asteroid on a collision course with the Earth, which was destroyed at the last second by a ballistic missile, launched by a dinosaur.
If only he had been awake to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment. Alas, there is no photographic proof.

Post Office Experiments With Puppy Mail Carriers
In its continued efforts to stem costs, the USPS has rolled out a pilot program in which puppies replace mail carriers on simpler suburban routes.
“We don’t want to lay people off,” said Ralph Comack, spokesperson for the Postmaster General at a press conference Saturday. “But puppies work real cheap. If the program is a success, we could slash $20 million from the budget in two years and keep the mail flowing without interruption.”
The program, however, is off to a ruff start.
See what we did there?
Never mind.
