Flying Guinea Pig Perplexes Zoologists
Flying squirrels are old news. Flying guinea pigs are another matter entirely.
An amazing piggie named Oliver has confounded researchers with his unique ability to hover a few inches off the ground.
“The only logical explanation,” says Richard Bledell, a zoologist with the World Wildlife Fund, “is that he was born on planet Krypton and his flight is powered by the Earth’s yellow sun.”

Today, catnip is generally accepted as a harmless stimulant. But a short subject recovered from the Hey Rube Educational Films vault paints a very different picture.

Do you know a kitty who abuses this dangerous and addictive drug? Have them seek professional help immediately.

Cat Sneaks Into NBA Practice With Clever Disguise
The NBA season may be over, but teams are already training for next year. 2012 Western Conference finalists the Oklahoma City Thunder are no exception.
Practice and scrimmages are not open to the public, but one super fan was able to sneak in for a glimpse of his favorite team in pre-season action.
“I thought he was Larry the maintenance guy,” says Burt Ellis, who works security for the team. He unwittingly waved Doug the cat right into the arena without the proper credentials. “It was the beard. It totally fooled me. I’m really embarrassed about it, actually.”
