Kitten Reminisces About Blizzard of 2013

Remember Nemo, the Blizzard of 2013? Well, of course you do, it was less than a week ago.  But a Brooklyn-based kitten named Irina has already begun reminiscing about the storm as if it happened in another era.

“She’s been going around telling everyone who will listen about the ‘great storm,’ as if it was something from her childhood,” said William Perkins, a source close to the situation. “It wasn’t even that bad here in the city. Just a few inches of snow.”

Of course, when you only live 15 years, maybe last week really is the “good ol’ days.”

Kitty Delivers Passionate But Uneven Shareholder Address

Fluffy, CEO of the Nya Nya Corporation, gave what many analysts are calling a passionate, if slightly odd speech at the annual shareholder meeting this morning.

Nya Nya, which is known for making its ultra-popular (among cats) goldfish bowl fishing game for smart phones, has seen its stock slide in recent months. Without a major new title release in over 18 months, many expected Fluffy to use this morning’s address as a launch pad to the next great Nya Nya game.

Instead, the enigmatic cat used his time on stage to talk about how excited he was for the future of the company, without ever really getting into specifics about new games or how the company planned to reach new markets. (An anticipated foray into development for the Xbox 360 has yet to materialize.)

“That was all fine,” said Tim Carlisle, an analyst at Bloomberg Businessweek. “I mean we all still love that fishing game enough to give Nya Nya a pass on new games for another six months or so, but where I think Fluffy really lost the audience was when he talked about his love of salmon over tuna for 15 minutes. That was just strange.”

Plus, everyone knows tuna is better.
