‘Morkie of the Month Club’ Raises Second Round of Funding
Want an adorable Morkie pup delivered to your door at the beginning of every month? There’s a website for that.
The Morkie of the Month Club has closed a second round of venture funding, raising just north of $2 million.
“We feel very confident that the market can sustain subscription services for Morkie buckets,” says Kurt Lant, co-founder of MotMC. “Our investors feel the same way, and we look forward to building a profitable business.”
While the company has yet to show positive revenue, industry analysts are optimistic.
“Market research clearly shows that people want buckets full of puppies delivered to their door,” says Hugh Capell of the Gartner Group. “The demand is there. A savvy company could fill that niche, no problem.”
