Guinea Pig Pals to Open Family Restaurant
After facing layoffs in the construction industry, Poe and Dani decided to pool their savings and open a restaurant in the neighborhood.
“It’s been their lifelong dream,” says Darren Stang, a close friend. “Neither has management experience. They couldn’t cook a bowl of pasta to save their lives. And they’re pretty bad with money. But, I think they’ve got a shot.”
The family restaurant, called Pigglebee’s, will open its doors the public this fall.
