Guinea Pig Nightclub Shut Down After Noise Complaints
For the fifth time this month, police had to respond to excessive noise complaints at Club Fur, a popular guinea pig nightspot. Now, the city board of licenses has suspended the club’s operating license for two weeks, forcing Fur to close its doors.
“This is standard procedure,” said board chairman Anthony Profar. "We have a three strikes your out rule, so we actually acted with leniency by letting this one go to five incidences before pulling their license.“
The license will be reinstated in two weeks, and the club will operate under probationary rules for the next six months.
