
Doggie Driver’s Ed Program a Success in 6 States
Dogs aren’t known for their skills behind the wheel. But a pilot program for canine driver’s ed has shown that when taught at a young age, puppies can learn to operate motor vehicles safely.
Since launch just three months ago, Doggie Driver’s Ed has helped over 500 pups earn their licenses accross New Mexico, Delaware, California, Rhode Island, Nebraska and West Virginia. The department of transportation plans to kick in some federal dollars to expand the program to more states.
