Out of Work Dog Starting to ‘Get Weird’

Friends are starting to get concerned about Tawny, a Shiba Inu pup who has been out of work for seven months. Pups say the dog, who was laid off from her job as a dog food taster last year, has stopped looking for a job.

“She doesn’t even leave the house anymore,” said Tony Malkoff, the dog’s across the hall neighbor. “She gets her food from FreshDirect, everything else from Amazon. Most of the day I think she just sits in her apartment watching Netflix.”

But it’s not the reclusive behavior that has friends worried, it’s what Tawny is doing behind closed doors.

“Last night she invited my wife and I over for dinner,” said Malkoff, “and when we arrived, she wanted us to participate in a scene-by-scene reenactment of 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. That movie wasn’t even very good. Plus, she wanted me to be Stryker. That makes no sense.”
