Trendsetting Puppy Launches New Hairdo Craze

Called “The Troll Doll,” the new hairstyle sweeping dog parks and kennels across the country is the responsibility of one trendy pup named Iverson. 

“When he started growing out the hair on the top of his head, I had no idea what he was up to,” said Camille Larson, a friend. “He was starting to look really 90s grunge." 

Larson didn’t really have a problem with that look – whatever made Iverson happy, she said – but it was hardly a fashion forward look.

"Then he put it up in this sort of giant faux hawk,” she said, “and I instantly knew what he was going for.”

She put a picture up on Instagram and the new do spread like wildfire. After posts on BuzzFeed and Fashionista launched the coiffure into the mainstream,the nostalgic “Troll Doll” look has started to turn up on the menus of doggy salons all over the country.

As for Iverson, the dog isn’t content to sit still and enjoy his newfound celebrity. He always wants to play on the fringes of fashion and is reportedly already planning his next hairstyle.
