Dog Refuses to Leave Towel Until After Winter

Winter hasn’t quite begun yet, but that hasn’t stopped a local dog from taking preemptive measures. According to friends, Bane has taken up residence in a warm, cozy towel and is refusing to come out until spring.

“He was really affected by the cold snap we had this week,” says Michelle Wirtz. “I told him the thermostat was at 70, but he wasn’t having any of it. He saw the towel and decided that was the best option. That was pretty much that.”

Though bargaining tactics have been used, the pup has refused to budge.

“I’ve tried treats, walkies, belly rubs… nothing’s worked,” says Wirtz. “We’ll see what happens when the mailman comes.”
