Local Dog Places Third in 5K
Jelly Roll, an Alaskan Husky-Pointer mix from Brighton, UK placed third in a 5K race this morning. The dog beat out a number of notable competitors, including last year’s champion, a Weimaraner from Chelmsford.
“This is quite an achievement for Jelly Roll,” said Janny North, a long-time friend and training partner. “He used to be kind of, well, pudgy, as his name would suggest. But he’s really put in a lot of work to get in shape. We may have to change his name!”
