Pup Led Astray by Apple Maps

A dog name Charles from Leeds, UK was led on what witnesses are calling a “wild goose chase” last weekend by Apple’s Maps application in iOS.   According to sources, the puppy was excited to try out his new iPhone 5, but ultimately his first experience with the phone was not a positive one.

Like many consumers, Charles had an issue with the mapping app providing inaccurate directions.  Instead of a local ice cream shop, Charles found himself directed to the middle of a vacant field in the countryside.  

Will the experience sour Charles on Apple products or the iPhone?

“Not likely,” said close friend Stan Toeffel.  "He’s a huge Apple fan and he still loves everything else about the iPhone 5.  He’s confident the folks at Apple will correct the mistakes with maps pretty quickly.“
