Golden Retriever Announces Bid for City Council

In an address to constituents on Wednesday, a golden retriever named Yuuko officially announced that she will run for city council.

“Yuuko’s top concerns are jobs and rising property taxes,” says Jon Combs, the dog’s campaign manager. “No one will fight harder for the middle class than she will.”

But she may not have to fight too hard for the job. The incumbent, Mark Cambria, has reached his term limit, and as of this writing, Yuuko is running unopposed.
