Friends: Newly Rich Puppy Not Spending Wisely 

Ralphie, a Cocker Spaniel / Poodle mix from New York City who has over 4,000 fans on Instagram, recently signed a six figure book deal with Chronicle Books. But friends are worried that the dog not using his newfound wealth wisely.

Sources tell The Fluffington Post that Ralphie has blown through nearly half his advance, spending extravagantly on luxury items like solid gold tags, car, first class flights, and Versace collars.

“I’m worried about him,” said one friend. “I mean, he was given this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to start building this lasting brand around the book and I’d hate to see him screw it up.”

A group of Ralphie’s friends are planning an intervention next week.
