Dog Wins Best Lawn Award for 3rd Consecutive Year

As the saying goes, every dog has its hobby. For Ralph, its his lawn.

Lovingly cared for, if slightly uneven, Ralph’s lawn is said to be the best canine-tended lawn in the eastern United States. In fact, it’s won him the coveted Best Lawn Award for the third year in a row. Despite the accolades, the proud pup doesn’t appear to have any particular lawn-growing secrets. According to a spokesperson, Ralph claims to use only Scott’s Turf Builder and water, long considered standard tools of the trade.

“This is just an exceptional lawn any way you slice it, ” says Hank Templeton, president of The American Lawn Society, presenting Ralph with his latest trophy.  "Usually, we give this award to humans. Ralph is obviously an exception. As is his lawn.“
