Dachshund Wins Big Playing Online Poker
Move over, C.M. Coolidge. This dog playing poker has gone digital, and managed to rake in a whopping $65,000 in three months.
Zoey, a dachshund from Welcome, NC, plays on UltimatePoker.com for about seven hours a day, whittling real money away from novice players – most of whom have no idea she’s a dog.
“A lot of inexperienced players try to make big moves early on to cash out as soon as possible,” says poker expert and coach Willy Davis. “Not Zoey. She plays a slow game, bleeds ‘em dry. Eventually, that pays off big.”
