Puppy Wavers on Debt Ceiling Debate

A dappled dachshund named Harry remains undecided on whether the U.S. should raise its debt ceiling again. President Obama has been pushing for the raise, while many House Republicans remain staunchly against it.

“On one hand, he has serious concerns about our national debt,” says Oscar Simmons, a friend who often discusses politics with Harry over bacon. “On the other hand, it would be pretty disastrous if America defaulted on its loans. I know Harry plans to do a bit more reading on it. It’s a complicated issue, especially for an adorable puppy.”
