Cat Buys Mansion, Can’t Decide on Color for Drapes
According to sources close the situation, a cat in Lima, Peru purchased the stately home seen above in a government auction for far below what it is believed to be worth. "The house had been owned by a known catnip kingpin,“ explained Raymund Florres, a spokesman for Peru’s drug enforcement agency. "When we seize properties from these drug lords they eventually go to auction where they can be had for very cheap.”
As part of the terms of the sale, the new owner had to pay for the removal of raised garden beds in the home’s courtyard in which multiple Nepeta cataria plants were growing.
