Riley and Alexis, a pair of pups from Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, were awarded the “most patriotic” prize in this year’s Pet Parade.
Their secret weapon? Costumes. The duo made a big impression on judges as George and Martha Washington.

Cats Affirm Camaraderie in ‘Best Friends’ Ceremony
Two kitties from Greenville, KY have made it official – they are best friends, and nothing will tear them apart. Daniel and Crazy held a private ceremony for friends and family where they vowed to be “Best Friends Forever.”
“They’ve been unofficial besties for a long time now,” says Jeanie Parvin, a source close to the situation. “But it’s nice to put it on the record in front of everyone they care about in the world.”
