Cat Determined to Celebrate July 4th All Week Long
A Baltimore, MD cat named Truman won’t settle for a one-day celebration of America’s founding.
“He started barbecuing on July 1st,” says Erica Dahmen, a neighbor. “Then there was the fireworks. And the music – John Philip Sousa, all day, all night.”
The patriotic cat is known about town for his week-long Independence Day celebrations, and the party is still going strong. This Saturday and Sunday promise to be full of summertime festivities in Truman’s back yard.

Beverly Hills pup Jackson was rather embarrassed when he arrived for what he thought was a formal affair.
“He was sporting full black tie. Jacket, duds – the works,” says party host Neil Fetters. “We were trying to keep it casual. Just getting a few dogs together to play some poker, you know?”

A 16-week-old puppy from Kenosha, WI named Leila Joan has been a Katy Perry fan her entire life.
“She has every album. All three of them,” says Serena Spece, a source close to the situation. “When she heard about the documentary, Katy Perry: Part of Me, she got really psyched. We’ve had advanced tickets for like three weeks.”
