Cocker Spaniels Set Guinness Record for Longest Cuddle
Siblings Lilly and Marshall have broken the world record for longest cuddle after holding an embrace for 26 days, 7 hours and 17 minutes. The cocker spaniels have been training for a little more than a year.
“They kept getting close, but losing their grip toward the end,” their coach Martin Fielding tells The Fluffington Post. “We’re thrilled that they nailed it in front of the Guinness people.”

Puppy Rents Playground for Private Event
Winnie, a 4-month-old Victorian bulldog from New York City, was tired of competing with other kids for swing and slide time. She saved up a little scratch so she could rent the playground from the city and enjoy it all on her own.
“She was on the swings for a good two to three hours, then the monkey bars,” says Amelia Foster, a friend. “She had a blast without those annoying kids running around.”

Belgian Bunny Needs Attitude Check
Jonathan has been in a pretty dour mood lately. The Brussels-based bunny is exuding attitude in droves.
“Maybe it’s because her name is Jonathan, and she’s a girl,” says Katy Wilmes, who expressed concerns about the bunny’s gender identity.
While experts say the name shouldn’t matter, close friends are worried the mixup is souring Jonathan’s outlook.

Cat’s Online Shopping Addiction Leads to Bankruptcy
A cat named Sparky from Rahway, NJ has racked up a debt of $36,000 after a four-day binge on ecommerce sites like Amazon and Zappos.
“Piles of boxes just started showing up at our apartment, maybe 10 to 15 per day,” says Ken Philips, Sparky’s roommate. “I asked him if he could afford all this stuff, but he wasn’t worried at the time.”
When the compound interest on his credit cards started kicking in, that’s when Sparky knew he was in trouble. The cat filed for bankruptcy within four months, and the online retailers are in the process of reclaiming their goods.
“You’ve got to live within your means,” says Philips. “I think this was a big lesson for Sparky.”
