Dog Takes Vacation to Avoid Winter Chill
A red lab named Bug is not a fan of winter weather. This year, rather than invest in an extra Snuggie, he packed up and headed south for a lakefront rental in warmer climes.
“He takes a dip every morning, spends most of the afternoon in the hammock,” says neighbor John Denby. “It’s a dog’s life.”

Amazon Jumps the Gun on Holiday Kitten Shipping
If you’ve ordered a kitten from Amazon for Christmas, chances are it will arrive a few days too early, thanks to a computer glitch at the online retailer’s fulfillment center.
“Ideally, we wanted the kittens to arrive on Christmas Eve,” says Wanda Triller, a spokesperson for Amazon.com. “But we’ve had a lot of complaints that they’ve arrived three to four days early.”
“I ordered Baloo as a Christmas present for my wife,” customer Sean Ninan tells The Fluffington Post. “But he came too early and it’s not like we could have left the box unopened until Christmas day. I’m all for priority shipping, but this is ridiculous.”
Cat Makes Naughty List for 3rd Straight Year
An area cat named Dippy was shocked to learn she has made Santa’s Naughty List for the third year in a row.
“She followed all the rules this year,” says Gabe Shoreline, a source close to the situation. “She was even polite to her neighbors – she never does that. I don’t know what went wrong.”
While there have been some unconfirmed reports of passive aggression, it’s still too early to say why Dippy could not overcome the naughty stigma this time around.

Mall Santa Fired for Peeing on Christmas Tree
A mall in Seattle, WA was the scene of a holiday kerfuffle when security guards escorted a chihuahua named Mildred out of the complex.
“She was working as a Santa for the season, and one of the parents saw her peeing on the Christmas tree during a break,” says Martin Kaufman, head of security at Westfield Southcenter. “She was just marking her territory, but rules are rules.”
