Area Cat Super Psyched for ‘Mad Men’ Premiere
Sir Cosmo the Cat is what you might call a “super fan” of the hit ’60s-era drama Mad Men.
When he’s not re-watching seasons 1 through 4 on Netflix, he’s cruising the AMC forums or working on his fan fiction novel, tentatively titled “Pete Campbell’s Revenge.”
Now that season 5 is finally upon us, Sir Cosmo has taken great pains to create the perfect viewing atmosphere for tonight’s two-hour premiere.

Hand-Made Cat House Comes in Many Flavors
The Cat Ball is the latest innovation in cat dwelling technology. While intended as a bed, these hand-made contraptions have a number of entertainment features.
“It has these openings that cats sometimes use for play, and things can get crazy,” says Jennifer Schmidt, who produces her patent-pending Cat Balls at home in Kent, WA.
Whlie the original design was simple, Schmidt has gone on to create a number of themed offerings, including a feline voting booth, a TARDIS, and a rainbow-colored Nyan Cat ball.
Flying Dog Finds Best Gas Prices in Your Neighborhood
Buster, a flying dog originally from Chicago, is on a mission.
Perturbed by the recent spike in gas prices, he’s using his super power to give back to local communities. Simply call him up, and he’ll fly to each gas station in your neighborhood, recording the prices so you can hit the cheapest one.
A spokesperson for Buster says he’s just trying to help out his fellow Americans in a tough economy, and has no plans to run for office on this platform.

DC Cat Finally Commits to Redecorating Her Apartment
Vivian, a 4-year-old cat from Washington, DC, has been talking about redecorating her apartment for nearly six months. Only now has she just gotten down to it.
The first order of business: a new dining room rug. Getting exact measurements will be critical to her decor plan.

Crafty Cat Makes Toys Out of Own Fur
Bored with standard pet store amusements, 3-year-old Toronto kitty Bruce Lee Wong has taken a DIY approach to filling up his toy box.
Using his very own fur, Wong lovingly crafts paw-made barnyard animals and balls that he can play with later. The process involves an intricate cross-stitch that makes the fur toys soft, yet durable.
The toys have become so popular among Wong’s family and friends that the enterprising cat has launched an Etsy shop. Nearly 400 units have been sold since mid February, and Lee has plans to hire an assistant in April.
