Prairie Dog Bluesman to Be Honored at House of Blues
Fats Grasser, a prairie dog harmonica virtuoso known for his mastery of the blues, will be honored in June at a tribute concert at the House of Blues in New Orleans, the legendary club announced today. The blockbuster lineup includes performances by Marcia Ball, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Taj Mahal, Ben Harper and the North Mississippi Allstars.
Grasser will be presented with a gold plated copy of his 2001 record, “Desert Burrow Blues,” which went 2x platinum in the United States.

Hamster Film Critic Gives “The Avengers” Two Thumbs Up
After breaking box office records for the biggest opening weekend, superhero flick “The Avengers” continues to impress critics and fans alike.
Dallas Morning News film critic (and adorable hamster) Phil Calloway finally got to see it, and has given the blockbuster his stamp of approval in this morning’s paper.
“He came back to the office and couldn’t stop smiling,” says Gabe Newman, Calloway’s editor at the News. “He really loves that super powers stuff.”

FluffCon, the annual convention for fluffy animals, came to a conclusion this weekend at the airport Radisson with a powerhouse closing keynote from noted nut expert, Dr. Squeaks.
Squeaks gave his presentation, On Locating, Collecting and Hiding Nuts for Winter, to a packed auditorium and left to thunderous applause. According to media reports, Squeaks has easily advanced nut science by a decade with his innovative ideas.
