Bulldog Collapses After Tryout With the Celtics

Squiggy, a bulldog from Naperville, IL, had the chance of a lifetime to make the Chicago Bulls squad mid-season as a walk-on.  After a grueling 8 hour tryout with team scouts and coaches on Sunday, Squiggy collapsed and had to be rushed to the vet.  

The dog is resting comfortably now and was apparently just dehydrated. However, Squiggy’s hopes of following the footsteps of his idol, Air Bud, may have been dashed, as team doctors remain unconvinced of the pup’s readiness for game action.
