Area Cat Takes a “Me” Day
An area cat has decided to take a personal day and just “hang out around the house,” according to sources close to the situation. Apparently, the cat – whose name has not been released at the request of friends – has been feeling overworked lately and decided to take a day off to reflect and recharge. He’ll be back at work tomorrow.

Rosie, a local feline with a big heart, donates a lot of her spare time to Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit that builds affordable housing in low-income communities.
She still has a bit to work on, however – her sense of architectural scale is completely off.

Guinea Pigs Give Olive Garden Endless Salad High Marks
According to a national survey by the Association of American Chain Restaurants, the endless salad at the Olive Garden has received the highest possible marks among guinea pigs. According to the survey, guinea pigs actually prefer the salad to anything else on the menu. Coming in second for customer satisfaction among the rodents was the carrot cake at The Cheesecake Factory.

Cat Waits Anxiously for Top Chef Call Back
According to sources close to the situation, an area cat has been waiting by the phone for hours in anticipation of a call back from the producers of Bravo’s hit TV series, Top Chef. This is apparently the cat’s fourth time auditioning for the show, and The Fluffington Post is told that this is the furthest he has ever gotten in the process.
“His recipe for catnip Niçoise with tuna carpaccio is to die for,” says one friend.
