Ferret Lives in Mug, Does Not Grant Wishes
According to local authorities, Samantha the ferret lives inside a beer stein. Why? “It’s cozy,” said one of Samantha’s confidants. "And it’s totally rent controlled.“ Still, many locals are perplexed by the ferret’s choice of abode. Sources tell The Fluffington Post that Samantha is relatively well off and could afford much larger accommodations (like a pitcher or mixing bowl).

Local Puppies Enjoy Story Time
According to sources, a group of local puppies has formed a weekly story time group with a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The $50,000 NEA grant should fund the program as is for at least a year, but the dogs apparently want to expand the group to include more area pups. They’re reportedly considering Kickstarter as a source of necessary funding.

Kittens to Form Beatles Cover Band
Though there was some initial squabbling over who would get to be John, a group of four talented kitties from Grand Rapids, MI are set to form a Beatles tribute band. The cats, who are all British ex-pats, met over a pint at a local pub. After having a few too many, so the story goes, they broke out into a chorus of Strawberry Fields Forever. The bartender jokingly said they should perform for an audience and the rest is history.
Their first gig will be next week.
