Kitten Can’t Wait for Owner to Catch Up on ‘Game of Thrones’
Louie the cat is a voracious reader and a huge Game of Thrones fan. He’s on all the fan forums every day, he role plays on IRC and he even dabbles in writing his own fan fiction. But outside of the Internet, he doesn’t really have anyone to share his fandom with.
“He’s pretty far ahead of me,” said roommate Van Cardoza, “and he really wants to talk about it without worrying about spoilers, so he’s kind of annoyed that I read so slow.”
According to Cardoza, Louie has taken to intently staring at him and re-reading passages over his shoulder.
“It’s not helping at all,” said Cardoza, who snapped the above pic to document the cat’s habit for Reddit. “I think it actually makes me read slower. And I mean, I’m already on book five and it’s 1,000 pages. Cut me some slack.”
Plus, the way George R.R. Martin writes, it could still be a good thirty or forty years before we get book six. Cardoza should have plenty of time.

Feuding Cat Brothers Divide Couch Down the Middle
Hans and Frans, feline twin brothers from the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, have been feuding practically since birth.
“You know that special bond that most twins have?” said close family friend Malik Carpenter. “Yeah, they don’t have that.”
The cats have tried to find common ground and, with the help of the nearby United Nations, have convened no less than three peace summits. But friends says that living in a tiny, 400 square foot studio apartment has made progress difficult.
Then, unexpectedly, there was a breakthrough last month, and the two have been living under the terms of a tensely negotiated truce. Things have reportedly been much more peaceful.
“The main thing,” explained Carpenter, “is that they found a way to pretty evenly divide the apartment. There was some dispute over the kitchen territory, but they decided to make that an international zone and worked out a clever rotating access schedule that seems keep everyone happy. Yeah, we had to buy an extra litter box, but I think it’s for the best.”
