BREAKING: Local Cat Refuses to Leave Box
An area cat that sources have confirmed to the The Fluffington Post is named Rocky, is reportedly refusing to vacate a cardboard box. According to police, Rocky entered the box about 12 hours ago and will not emerge, despite of numerous pleas to do so by both the owners of the box and local law enforcement. Rocky is not believed to have any hostages in the box with him, nevertheless, authorities are not taking any chances and have called in the FBI for assistance.

French Bulldog Premieres New Video
Otto, a french bulldog and professional skateboarder, has debuted the trailer his new skate video. The one minute and thirty second reel shows the dog executing some extremely advanced skateboarding tricks, such as, hopping on the board, dismounting, skating in a straight line, skating in a not so straight line, and jumping onto a curb. The technical mastery displayed by Otto in his films is what has propelled him to super stardom in the skateboarding world.

Dog to Play Dorothy in ‘The Wizard of Oz’
A new off-Broadway production of the classic children’s tale The Wizard of Oz, is set to star a local cairn terrier as Dorothy. Though some theater critics question the move, citing that it would have been more conventional for the terrier to play Toto (which ironically will be played by a 14 year-old human actress from Queens), the play’s director, Andrei Federov, was quick to defend his choice.
“Theater is about the living, breathing moment. It is about feeling words as tangible play things in time and space,” he said to a group of reporters yesterday. When pressed further for a response that actually made sense, he called us all philistines and left the room.
