Puppy Enjoys Ke$sha, Doesn’t Care Who Knows It

Puppy Enjoys Ke$sha, Doesn’t Care Who Knows It

A local puppy named Ninja has revealed that he listens to music by the pop singer Ke$ha, and not by accident.

“We’ve all heard Ke$ha come on the radio and forgot to change the station. It happens,” says Ninja’s friend Daniel Kutcher. “But Ninja has whole albums saved to his iPhone. Even the B-sides. He jams out to ‘Dirty Love’ all the time!”

Ninja claims the songs are catchy, fun and all about youthful abandon. What’s so wrong with that?

“She has a dollar sign in her name,” says Leila Childress, music critic for Time Out New York. “That’s what’s wrong with that.”

NSA’s Puppy Spy Program Is Surprisingly Unsophisticated

NSA’s Puppy Spy Program Is Surprisingly Unsophisticated

Classified documents leaked by former government contractor Edward Snowden and provided to The Fluffington Post reveal more secret machinery in the NSA’s elaborate domestic spying operation – this time, employing neighborhood pups.

Code-named OPERATION BACONLOCK, the program is designed to uncover suspicious activity from across the backyard fence. According to the documents, more than 12,000 dogs and puppies have been employed by the NSA to spy on neighbors through missing slats and partially dug holes. Their findings are then reported back to the NSA via encrypted channels. The program is similar to one utilizing cat contractors to spy on email, which was recently reported in this publication.

It’s unclear whether the program has uncovered any terrorist activity in its active five years, but a number of security analysts tell The Fluffington Post that its design and reliance on dogs makes it “inefficient.”

“Dogs are great at sniffing out suspicious activity, but will they follow through on reporting it?” poses Larry Chen, a former consultant to the Department of Homeland Security. “I imagine distractions like squirrels and flying sticks would hinder this operation immensely.”

The NSA and The White House could not be reached for comment.

Kitten Forms Neighborhood Watch

Kitten Forms Neighborhood Watch

Barnaby the kitten was sick of having his car broken into, and because the police weren’t doing enough for his liking, he took matters into this own hands, er, paws.

The cat announced this morning that he was forming a neighborhood watch and is accepting applications.

“This is a nice neighborhood,” said Justin Dunn, a spokesperson for the watch group. “But when Barnaby had his collection of mix CDs stolen out of his car in broad daylight in November, the cops just told him him to file a report in case they found anything. He’s fed up.”

The kitten plans to create a smartphone app that will allow record and report any suspected crimes in progress.

Not everyone is on board with Barnaby’s plans.

“He’ll tell you this about reducing crime, recovering his Barry Manilow mixes or whatever,” said Susan Keller, a lawyer for Toby the Jack Russell Terrier, who live across the street. “But really, this is about Barnaby keeping an eye on the neighborhood dogs. He’s trying to get everyone else to do his dirty work for him. Who knew big brother was a cute little cat.”
