Dog DJ Plans ‘Pet Sounds’ Weekend

Gracie had heard it all – or so she thought. 

The veteran dog DJ was looking for something new to spin when she happened upon a seemingly perfect LP – The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds.

“She hasn’t listened to any of it yet,” says Hank McCaffrey, a friend. “I probably should have told her what it was before she carved out all of next weekend to play it.”

Indeed, the pup plans to spend next Friday, Saturday and Sunday broadcasting the classic album that includes no actual animal sounds. 

“She’ll probably be a little disappointed,” says McCaffrey. “It still won’t be anywhere near as bad as her ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ marathon last year, though.”

Hamster Model Master “Blue Steel”

According to his manager, Christian the hamster has finally gotten down the most fabled look in modeling.

“He did ‘Blue Steel,’” says Len Perlstein. “We were shooting for the Sears fall catalog, and all of a sudden he just does it. It was like someone sucked the air out of the room. Time stood still. It was glorious.”

Long considered the most challenging look a model can master, “Blue Steel” has evaded some of the most famous names in runway fashion.

“No one’s done it correctly since ’86,” says Perlstein. “Christian’s just a special hamster. Now, if I could get him to lay off the pellets, that would be amazing.”
