Cat and Dog Kiss on a Dare
A cat and dog in Worcester, MA reportedly kissed on a dare last night while attending a party with some school friends. They did not like it.
“It was pretty funny,” recounted sixth grader Sam Malloy. “We were all like, ‘Do it! Do it!’ and then they did and they were all, ‘Bleeeech!’ It was great.”
The cat and dog, who are pretty close friends, have decided not to talk to each other for a couple of weeks.

Dog Confident He Will Find Missing Tennis Ball
Marley, a local dog who lost his favorite tennis ball last night, has vowed vigilance in the continued search for the missing toy.
While playing catch last night at around 9:15pm local time, the ball was accidentally thrown over the back fence and into the woods, according to eye witnesses. Marley spent about an hour searching for the wayward ball, but because it was already full dark, he had no luck finding it.
“He spent another couple of hours this morning combing the woods in the area the ball was lost, but no luck so far,” said Todd Fielding.
Marley spent the rest of today drawing up a search and rescue plan and recruiting other neighborhood pets to help with the effort. He plans a renewed search tomorrow at daybreak.

Puppies Participate in Stuffed Duck Hunt
Duck hunting, once a proud aspect of dog culture immortalized in the 1984 Nintendo classic Duck Hunt, has come under fire in recent years by certain factions in the canine community. A growing number of dogs say the practice is barbaric and have organized groups to advocate for the rights of water fowl.
One such group, Dogs Against Duck Shoots (DADS) organized a “stuffed duck hunt” today, which they say is both more humane and just as much fun and exercise as a traditional duck hunt.
“It’s basically a big scavenger hunt,” said Selma Hawkins, a spokesperson for DADS. “The dogs run through the woods, they find the stuffed duck plushies and bring them back. It’s a lot of fun, without all the dog-on-duck violence.”
