Hand-Made Cat House Comes in Many Flavors
The Cat Ball is the latest innovation in cat dwelling technology. While intended as a bed, these hand-made contraptions have a number of entertainment features.
“It has these openings that cats sometimes use for play, and things can get crazy,” says Jennifer Schmidt, who produces her patent-pending Cat Balls at home in Kent, WA.
Whlie the original design was simple, Schmidt has gone on to create a number of themed offerings, including a feline voting booth, a TARDIS, and a rainbow-colored Nyan Cat ball.
French Beret Will Give Your Cat a Certain Je Ne Sais Quoi
If your kitty needs to class up his wardrobe, check out the Etsy shop of user ToScarboroughFair. Her store specializes in “Hats for Cats,” and the French berets are particularly distinguished.
“Especially designed for cats but suitable for other pets too, this light blue color beret is felted out of fine merino wool, and it’s very comfortable and lightweight,” reads the site.
Clothing Company Awarded Patent for Greatest Kitten T-Shirt of All Time
The U.S. Patent Office is notoriously cautious in awarding legal ownership of superlative intellectual property. Previous bids for “Greatest Waffle Iron Ever” and “Sweetest Bill Cosby Impression” have been rebuffed on grounds of subjectivity.
However, in what some are calling a game-changing move, the office has granted The Mountain T-Shirt Store a patent for “The Greatest Kitten T-Shirt of All Time” (pictured above).
“It’s fairly cut and dry,” says Norman Aquillar, senior patent examiner in Washington, DC. “This is literally the greatest kitten T-shirt that has ever been made. We would be remiss to deny IP protection of something that is so universally and undeniably true.”
