Cat Pins Dog In Exciting Wrestling Bout

In what is being hailed by sportswriters as “the inter-species fight of the century,” Bing the cat managed to pin Rummy the dog in the fourth round of a Greco-Roman wrestling match on Sunday.

“Everyone was betting on Rummy,” says Cal Camden, who covers contact sports for The New York Post. “When Bing locked him in that half nelson, the whole match shifted. Then it was over in two minutes.”

Leftover Cats Stay Fresh With or Without Cover

According to an article in Martha Stewart Living, leftover cats stored in an uncovered bowl remained just as fresh as those in sealed containers.

“It turns out you don’t need Tupperware to keep cats from going stale,” writes food critic Amanda Mozer. “Just leave them anywhere around the house for maximum freshness.”

Nap-Induced Cramp Strikes Local Cat

Nap-Induced Cramp Strikes Local Cat

By Scott Friesdstein, FluffPo Correspondent

According to his owner, Sgt. Pepper the cat has been stuck in the same position for at least an hour following an exceptionally hard nap. “Oh, he loves his naps,” says Doris Bluth. “It honestly can’t be good for him, though, lying for hours like that. You OK there, Sergeant?"

Bluth tells The Fluffington Post that she had just finished her crocheting for the day when she heard a faint meow coming from the kitchen. "Usually that means he’s hungry,” says Bluth. “Oh, I hope he gets up soon. I’d help him out but he just looks so peaceful.”

According to Dr. Helen Pike, DVM, cats are advised to stretch for at least ten minutes before napping to prevent cramps, with light cardio exercise recommended for naps lasting eight hours or more. “There were certainly preventative measures this cat could have taken,” says Dr. Pike of Sgt. Pepper. “This is only temporary, though. He should be perfectly fine and back to normal in time for his next nap.”

Cat Miffed After Rejection From ‘Snow White’ Audition

Cat Miffed After Rejection From ‘Snow White’ Audition

A cat named Duky is upset she did not receive a call back for the lead role in the upcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman.

“This was two years ago, of course,” says Ronnie Griggs, spokesperson for the fragile feline. “But now that the film is coming out, the wound is fresh.”

Universal Studios claims Duky simply wasn’t a fit for the part, but in a press release, the cat accuses the studio of human bias.

“Look at her – she was born to play this role,” says Griggs. “It’s just Hollywood and their stereotypical casting practices.”
