Hedgehog Finally Watches ‘Honey Boo Boo’
By Scott Friestein, FluffPo Correspondent
Hercules the hedgehog had never been a fan of reality television. His friends, however, couldn’t stop talking about Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The TLC series about child beauty pageant contestant Alana “Honey Boo Boo Child” Thompson has been a source of water cooler chatter since its premiere, with seemingly everyone in America having an opinion about it. Not wanting to be out of loop. Hercules had to tune in.
“At first, he wasn’t sure what he was watching,” says Preston George, a source close to the situation. “There were a lot of questions: Are these actual people? Is ‘go-go juice’ really a thing? Why am I watching this? That’s the appeal of the show, though. Like, is it just mindless entertainment, or rather a commentary on our society and values? Also, do people really eat spaghetti with ketchup? No one knows for sure, but I can tell you one thing – that hedgehog is hooked.”

Hedgehog Appointed Spokespet for Strawberry Lobby
The International Association of Strawberry Growers has appointed a hedgehog as their spokespet, the group is set to announce at the BerryFest Conference this morning.
“It’s an unusual choice for sure,” said professor of berry science at Duke University, Dr. Mike Mandelbaum. "I don’t really see the connection, but the little guy sure is cute. I mean, will I buy more strawberries as a result? Probably. Oh… yeah, so I guess it is a good choice.“

Hedgehog’s Preparations for 2016 Olympics Begin Now
Ollie the Hedgehog may not have won any medals at the 2012 London Olympics, but that hasn’t discouraged him from chasing his dream. The current American record-holder for fastest time by a hedgehog in the 200m butterfly has his sights set on the 2016 Summer Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
According to friends, Ollie spends five hours in the pool each day, and another two in the weight room.
“He’s committed,” said personal trainer Janice Perkins. "I’m sure Ollie will make the team for 2016. Michael Phelps is lucky he decided to retire… Ollie was coming for him.“
