Injured Dog Picks Up Alleged Extraterrestrial Radio Signals
According to sources, an injured dog in Lisbon, Portugal was able to pick up a brief radio transmission via the head cone his vet forced him to wear that some believe to be extraterrestrial in origin. Scientists at the European Space Agency and the SETI Institute are currently evaluating the claim, which if proven legit, would be an unparalleled breakthrough in the history of modern science.
“This would be as big as the discovery of gravity in terms of understanding our universe,” said Dr. Paulo Vierra of SETI.
With each passing hour the likelihood of hearing the transmission repeated grows more slim, however, causing many to speculate that this could end up being a repeat of the famous 1977 “Wow! signal.”

Puppy Adopts Pet Rock
Despite protests from friends and family that she’s too young for such responsibility, Thisbe, a 6-week-old puppy from North Carolina, has completed the adoption paperwork for her very own pet rock.
She’ll be bringing the rock home for the first time on Friday and swears she will walk and clean up after it.

Cat Doors: They’re Not for Dogs
New statistics out from the National Coalition of First Responders reveal that roughly 6,400 U.S. dogs become stuck in cat doors every year. This is a substantial uptick from last year’s findings.
Researchers are still unsure if dogs are getting fatter or dumber.
