In response to the demand, vacuum groomers have sprouted up all over the South, and larger chains are expected to push northward this summer as the trend heats up.

REPORT: Area Dog is Excited for Camping Trip
Winter is over in North America, oh happy day! And that means the weather is nice enough to go camping again. According to reports, at least one area dog is absolutely beside himself at the idea of sleeping under the stars. "He just loves camping,“ said one source close to the situation. "He just goes bonkers when we load up the van with the tent and sleeping bags.”

Dog Charged in Theft of Cat’s Dinner Bowl
T-Bone, a local Shar Pei puppy, was caught by newly installed surveillance cameras pilfering the cat’s supper dish yesterday shortly before dinner time. This is the third time the bowl has gone missing in the past week, but the first time formal charges have been made against a suspect. T-Bone pleaded no contest at his arraignment Tuesday morning and a trial date will be set next week.

Dog Licks Lizard, Instantly Regrets Decision
According to sources, a local pup by the name of Izzy was having a rough day after making the unfortunate decision to lick his lizard friend, Rex. "He kind of made a face, like when you suck a lemon,“ said one witness. "You could tell both he and the lizard were mortified.”
Though most friends suspect no lasting damage was done, things will definitely be awkward between Izzy and Rex for a few weeks.
