Crafty Hamster Hitches Ride on Pekingese
An unnamed hamster was able to hitch a ride on the back of a Pekingese puppy early Thursday afternoon and travel at least 450 feet. "We’re not totally sure how long the little guy was on Gizmo’s back,“ said Alton Smythe, a source close to the situation, "but he had to have been there for at least 10 minutes before we noticed him. I think he got across most of the house and probably some of the backyard before that.”
The hamster is now in custody and being question by police. The puppy is resting at home with family, shaken up, but unharmed.
