Mute Dog Inspires Nation
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
Zabi the Pomeranian, as most folks will tell you, is a special dog. Apparently unable to produce even the faintest bark, Zabi has had to resort to alternative methods of communication.
By all accounts, he has adapted extraordinarily well. “He inspires me every day,” says Rachel Landers, the dog’s owner. “Normally, I would have no way of knowing if he was hungry or needed to go out. He just always finds a way.”

Proud Puppy Parents Get Professional Portraits
Agnes and Fred, the proud parents of three beautiful puppies, recently had professional family portraits done at Sears. "There special going that really made it a no-brainer,“ says family friend Debbie Hafner. "I saw the sale advertised in the paper and I said to Agnes, I says, ‘Agnes, you should get the whole family photographed!’ I think they came out smashingly.”

Portland Pup Wins ‘Best Dressed’ Award
Stella, a bulldog from Portland, ME, has been named “Best Dressed” by the city’s mayor and chamber of commerce.
“Stella’s sense of fashion is unrivaled,” said county executive Ed Dooley at a press conference. “It’s a real joy to watch her trot down the street in those designer threads. That’s why we’ve put our important work on hold so we can give her a trophy.”
This is not Stella’s first foray into the elite world of fashion. She has been featured in numerous magazines and blogs, and intends to walk the runway at this fall’s Dior show.

Puppy Pony Tails Are Back in Style
The July issue of Glamour magazine reports that pony tails are back in fashion for young puppies.
“They’re on the runway, they’re on TV, and they’ve been trending in most fashion blogs,” says Florence Wield, associate editor at Glamour. “If you’ve got enough fluff to rock a pony, you should go for it while it’s hot.”
