Bulldog Misses Bus on Morning Commute
It was just another day for Marusya, a French bulldog on her way to the office.
“She had her briefcase, her BlackBerry and a brown bag lunch,” says Sharon Zellers who witnessed the incident. “But she was facing the wrong way when the bus pulled up. She completely missed it.”
Sources say Marusya was at least a half hour late to work, earning her a stern talking to from her boss.

Critics Praise Puppy’s One-Dog Show
A performance art piece conceived, directed and starring a puppy named Daphne has received wide critical acclaim in recent weeks.
“It’s an incredibly powerful piece of work,” says Darren Zhu, theater critic for Time Out New York. “It really captures the struggles we all face, whether you’re an adorable puppy or not.”
But the show’s producers are worried it might be a tough sell to the public.
“The art house crowd seems to really be into it,” says Barry Gloster, who raised some capital for the production. “But I’m not sure we’ll be able to recoup the full cost in ticket sales.”

Chanel to Bottle New ‘Wet Dog’ Fragrance
In a move that has many perfume marketers scratching their heads, Chanel is due to release a line of fragrances called “Wet Dog.”
“Lots of people enjoy the smell of musty mutt hair,” says Melissa Quashie, a Chanel spokesperson. “It reminds them of home and of simpler times. We want to bottle that feeling.”
Not everyone agrees.
“Wet dog is like the worst smell ever,” fashion blogger Kelly Ralls tells The Fluffington Post. “What’s next? Cologne that smells like BO?”

Dog Looses Multiple Copies of Itself Into Wild
A local dog / mad scientist accidentally caused a rift in the time space continuum on Thursday morning, which allowed a number of copies of itself from parallel universes to leak into our own universe. The copies of the dog, a French Bulldog named Lola, are apparently nearly identical in every way, which has made it very difficult for law enforcement officials to recognize our universe’s Lola from the copies.
The National Guard has sealed off most of the local area and scientists have been called in from the Brookhaven National Laboratory to figure out a solution.
It is estimated that at least 350 Lolas remain at large.
